Lesson 1: Basic Anatomy
Knowing all of the structures of a human has become a necessary goal in your life. You want to be able to name, locate, and classify every human structure into the various body systems. Well, this simulation is right for you. Activate your cerebellum, lobes, and your precentral gyrus (just to mention a few parts of your brain) and investigate the amazing structures of the human body.
Doing the science
- Open the Body Paint simulation.
- Select the "Practice Mode."
- Select the "Begin" button.
- Select "Circulatory" from the left side of the screen.
- Select "Heart" from the right side of the screen.
- On the drawing, select a structure shown in one color. Move the structure to its name on the right side of the screen.
- Note that as you move the structure’s color to the name, the name’s color changes to match the structure’s color.
- Continue doing this until you have matched all structures with their correct names.
- Select the "Check Answer" button at the bottom of the screen.
- If needed, repeat steps 6 - 9 until you have matched all structures and names correctly.
- Select the "Circulatory" link at the top left of the screen.
- Repeat steps 6 - 10 until you have completed all structures of the Circulatory system.
- Select the "Circulatory" link at the top left of the screen twice to return to the main menu.
- Select and investigate the various other systems and structures of the human body: Digestive, Endocrine, Muscular, Nervous, Respiratory, Skeletal, Reproductive, Tooth, and Skin.
